Welcome to BTC Markets! If you have been verified for Complete Trading Access, but crypto withdrawals are not yet enabled on your account, this guide will walk you through the steps to enable this feature. Additionally, we’ll provide some essential tips to keep your funds secure and avoid common pitfalls.
Understanding the Importance of Caution
Before initiating cryptocurrency withdrawals, it’s crucial to understand the risks.
Cryptocurrency Transactions Are Irreversible: Once you send cryptocurrency to an external wallet, it cannot be recovered if sent to the wrong address or to a fraudulent party.
Please carefully consider the following warning signs, particularly if you may be speaking to someone claiming to represent a trusted entity:
- If someone has assisted you in opening a crypto wallet (or your BTC Markets account) or is guiding you through this process over the phone, by email, messaging app, or screen sharing/remote access to your device.
- If you have been instructed to transfer funds to another wallet, exchange, or third party for "security", "verification", or "safe keeping" purposes.
- If you are making this withdrawal because of an investment, job opportunity, or offer that feels unusually urgent or promises guaranteed or exceptionally high returns.
If any of the above applies to you or if you have any reservations, please do not complete the below application and instead contact our support team so that we may assist you directly.
BTC Markets will never request your login details or ask you to withdraw funds from the platform for security reasons. For more information please see here: How to stay safe in crypto | BTC Markets
