Enjin is a Singapore based IT technology company that was founded in 2009 and has a strong focus on improving the computer gaming industry. They currently have a suite of products available, from software development kits that developers can use to work Enjin products in their own platforms, as well as an ERC-20 token known as ‘Enjin Coin’.
One of the main features that Enjin coin is to provide the gaming community is that users can create and manage virtual goods. Developers can create tokens to use in their own game which then uses the Enjin Coin as the parent currency. This gives created coins all the benefits of a blockchain network whilst being custom made for their own platform.
Enjin held their ICO on the 1st of November 2017, raising $23 million USD, which was 92% of their initial ICO goal of $25 million USD.
