At BTC Markets we offer a number of methods to deposit AUD into your account: Card deposit, Osko (PayID) and via direct deposit (bank transfer) using an individual BSB and account number.

Please note: Deposit information entered via your bank must be correctly entered to successfully deposit to your BTC Markets account.
How to make a bank transfer via the beta trading platform:
- Sign in to your BTC Markets account.
- On the Dashboard screen, click the Deposit cash button in the top right-hand corner. Alternatively, select Deposit cash from the left-hand side menu.

Select Bank Transfer as the payment method and you will be shown the following details:
- Account name
- BSB
- Account number
- Reference number
- Navigate to your banking application and select the option to pay someone.
- In the payment section, either copy and paste or manually enter your deposit account details from step 3.
- Depending on your banking institution's interface, you will need to enter in a description, detailed description, message, memo or reference. In this field, enter your reference number. Please note: Your reference number must be included in the transaction as it is used to allocate your deposit into your BTC Markets account.
- Submit the payment to complete the deposit.
How to make a bank transfer via the exchange:
- Sign in to your BTC Markets account.
- Select 'Account' in the menu and then 'Deposit'.

Select 'Direct Deposit' from the drop-down menu and you will be shown the following details:
- Account name
- BSB
- Account number
- Deposit description
- Navigate to your banking application and select the option to pay someone.
- In the payment section, either copy and paste or manually enter the BTC Markets deposit account details.
- Depending on your banking institution's interface, you will need to enter in a description, detailed description, message, memo or reference. In this field, enter your unique deposit reference.
- Submit the payment to complete the deposit.
To make a direct deposit via the mobile app:
- Sign in to your BTC Markets account.
- Navigate to the Account tab and then tap the Deposit button.
- Select Australian Dollar from the asset list.
- Select 'Direct deposit' from the AUD deposit options list.

You should now see:
- Account name
- BSB
- Account number
- Reference number
- Navigate to your banking application and select the option to make a payment (send money). In this section, enter the details from the BTC Markets mobile app.
- Submit the payment to complete the deposit.
- If your deposit has been successful, your finds will be credited to your account. If your bank supports fast payments, this may only take a minute, otherwise it may take 1-2 business days.
Processing times for deposits made via BSB and account number
The following factors can affect the processing times of deposits made via BSB and account number:
- Your first deposit via this method may take 1-2 business days to process and be credited to your BTC Markets account.
- If your bank supports NPP (Osko PayID), then deposits after your first payment will usually be credited and visible in your BTC Markets account within a few minutes.
- If your bank doesn't support NPP (Osko PayID), then payments may take up to 3 business days to process and be credited to your BTC Markets account. See our help article: Which Banks Support Osko Payments? To see if your bank supports NPP.
- If your deposit amount is over the NPP limit imposed on your account by your bank, then the payment may take up to 3 business days to process and be credited to your BTC Markets account.
- Deposits over your daily deposit limit will be delayed. If you need to increase your daily deposit limit, please request a limit increase.
Important - Please do not forget to add your BTC Markets account number as the deposit reference, message or description depending on your bank's user interface for each deposit you make. This will ensure your deposit is processed as efficiently as possible. Please also ensure that your name is displayed on each deposit you make.
